Description
This is the pin that can be a giant pain to get out! And if you do, it can get quite mangled.
It connects the chrome shift lever to the metal fork.
Beveled ends for easier installation.
To install this part properly we recommend removing the fork from your car.
Tech Tip: If your shifter arm is in backwards, you can reverse the shifter mechanism in the engine compartment. You can do it without pulling the assembly out of the car and knocking this pin out of the shifter arm. Unbolt the mechanism from the steering box and spin it around (you will have to work the selector arms replicating it shifting) where the bend is now facing towards the steering wheel. The shifter mechanism can only bolt one way to the steering box - SHK1 & SHK3 for more detailed pictures & descriptions.
