When everything is lined up correctly; using these seals will assure your door will shut properly without banging off the seal.
If you can't tell the correct way this seal gets installed from the pictures you can use this description. The longer portion of the extrusion is on the outside (once installed). The shorter / 90 degree portion of the extrusion is on the inside and it matches the 90 degree on the door frame of your Metro. Just keep in mind you are matching the extrusion of the seal to the opening of the door / sill.
