Description
Brand New Bull Dawg Brake Shoes! No more core charges.
Up to E-29283.
We have designed the new early shoes with a double sided adjuster pin so there's no longer a primary and secondary shoe. Basically saying you can install any of them either in the top or bottom position.
A good way to identify the difference between the early and late Metropolitan brake shoes is the notch in the middle of the metal part of the shoe. The early version has U notches and the late version has a V notch.
If you're completely rebuilding your brake system don't forget about our BRK18 & BRK19 overhaul kits.
Installation tip: Since the front brake return springs are so heavy, for easy installation: Install the return spring to end of the brake shoe that is closest to the wheel cylinder (which is the back of the wheel cylinder) & then lift the other end up on the wheel cylinder piston. Using pliers to pull these return springs isn't possible. Using this method will save you a lot of time and aggravation.
