Brand new replacement Metropolitan fuel tank that fits all years. Our fuel tank fixes all your issues with a rusted out / improperly relined original fuel tank.
Not exact original dimensions but fits in the same mounting position without any modifications to your car. The only thing you will have to do is cut your filler neck off the original gas tank. Our installation kit (linked below and in the related items) is needed to install this tank correctly.
Specifications - 7 gallon tank. Made of the High Quality corrosion resistant Ni-Terne steel finish inside and out. No painting is required.
We had our new batch of gas tanks made with a drain plug (pics 3-5). So removing your fuel tank will be much easier when you can drain the gas properly.
The pick up tube is internally installed. Original Metro gas tanks had an external pick up tube.
3 year manufacturer warranty for ethanol up to 20%.
