Used.
Good original fuel tank. This is considered our B gas tank. It isn't rusted out visually but will have a dent or some sort of non major imperfection. Whatever the issue may be, it is fixable and not a major issue. It will probably survive being dipped without any rust through. If sand / bead blasting it may show some minor rust through or pin holes - which can easily be welded. Sand blasting is a rough process that may expose small pin holes regardless.
Keep in mind, no 2 used gas tanks are the same. You will get a different looking gas tank than the one pictured, once it's sold.
It will need restored properly before installing and using on your Metropolitan.
Limited supply. Good used original fuel tanks are very rare. When they're gone they're gone.
You will need to reuse your original pick up tube (if you need one we have those in used) & any other parts. You are only getting the gas tank when purchasing this part.

If you purchased this gas tank and still have your original gas tank, we will offer a 40.00 store credit for the original filler neck (cut it off close to the base). We don't want those thrown away since any customer that purchases a new gas tank, and doesn't have the original gas tank, won't have the filler neck. We can send a prepaid return label for this part only.
